Manuka honey from New Zealand has proven anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal activity. It is used externally on sores, cuts and abrasions to help prevent infection.

Jojoba oil and vitamin E make up the moisturising base ingredients.

To Use

Apply a small amount 3-4 times daily or as necessary.

Discontinue use if local irritation occurs. The process may take a few days to a few weeks, depending on the severity of the condition. It may make skin slightly flaky at first.

The cream has been formulated to work with the Hopes Relief Soap Free Cleansing Bar. To obtain maximum benefits for your skin it is recommended that they are used together.

Hope's Relief cream is formulated using the best natural ingredients. It is concentrated so should be used sparingly, 3 to 4 times per day, or as necessary.

Facial use: When applying to the face apply to clean, damp skin. This will help ensure a light, even application. The cream will be rapidly absorbed into the skin.

Stinging: In some severe cases where the skin is badly scratched, stinging may be experienced for one or two minutes after application. After about 2 or 3 days of regular application, the stinging should cease completely, as the skin heals. The high percentage of Manuka honey in the cream will help reduce any infection.

Switching Over from Steroid Creams: If by any chance you are presently treating your condition with a cream that contains corticosteroids (e.g. hydrocortisone), it is possible that your symptoms have been suppressed. When you stop applying cortisone, it is possible that those suppressed symptoms may flare up. Please bear this in mind when you switch over to Relief cream. It is possible that this flare-up may occur in the initial stages.

Healing Process: When you first start using Relief cream, you may experience some changes in your skin. Whilst Hope's Relief cream is an excellent moisturizer, when it comes to the lesions of Eczema or Psoriasis, it is possible that those lesions may become dry and flaky. If you notice this, then it is a good sign - it is part of the healing process.
