About The Author
Dr Adrian Williams FRCP is a consultant physician and Director of the Baroness Lane-Fox Respiratory Unit and Sleep Disorders Centre at London's famous St Thomas's Hospital. Previously Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and Director of the UCLA Sleep Disorders Centre, his work has encompassed all aspects of sleep medicine including research into sleep and its associated illnesses. Dr Williams is the author, in particular, of many papers on obstructive sleep apnoea, and has been recognised by awards for his work in the field of sleeping disorders.
