Glycerin has been the standard which all humectants are measured against. Until now no other humectant drew in as much moisture from the air as glycerin. The proprietary formulation in Skin MD Natural has a moisturising factor of at least 6 times greater than glycerin.

Defined as a "Shielding Lotion", this new concept in skin care keeps moisture robbing irritants away from the skin while the proprietary humectants hydrate throughout the day. It forms a natural protective barrier on the skin and keeps out irritants and chemicals. It also allows the natural oils and moisture to remain in the skin so it can heal more rapidly.
